Crime spree in Huntsville needs a Master Detective!
by Thomas Mysliwiec
It would seem that the crime filled town of Huntsville is in need of a detective! A rather large pile of case files have come across your desk and it up to you to catch the culprits behind these dirty deeds. Brush off the trench coat and start sleuthing!
The game continues by allowing you to visit known locations of where criminals have visited for clue gathering. This is done by surveying the scene presented to you and looking for items that match a predefined list. Once you have found all the clues from one location you?ll travel to another and so on until you have gained enough clues to be fed to the Crime Computer. It?s here that the identity of the suspect in question will be revealed through one final tile-swapping puzzle! It should also be noted that each case has a certain amount of time before the perpetrator gets away! You?ll have to manage your clues in a timely manner if you?re going to crack the case.
What makes Mystery Case Files ? Huntsville unique is the variety of things to find in each location. Very rarely will you receive the same list of clues to gather and each place you tour is filled with enough items to keep you looking for that next clue. With 15 cases that deserve your best investigational skills you may feel the game is short. Fortunately the game has a high production value and is a first in a series of games planned to feature mysteries, mischief, and more puzzle solving!
